“No one cares about your insomnia! Honestly, it sounds manufactured just to get people to “relate”. Also, this was probably one of the worst Herb Baumeister stories I’ve heard. Gave this a fair shot, but after listening to both episodes I doubt I have listen to this again.”

“I do not understand why I am supposed to care about the narrator... The true crime portions are great, but the cliché bits about insomnia are so hamfisted it makes it painful to listen. “It’s okay. Definitely don’t care for this mans sleep issues interrupting the narrative- it doesn’t add much to the ~eerie~ effect. I also had to speed up to 1.5x due to his slow sleep-lacking voice.
Seems a little too try-hard to be different from competing true crime pods.
