The story is interesting but the personal narration starts to feel a bit like one-upping all true crime fans. If what the narrator is saying is true about the cause of his insomnia, I really hope he’s getting professional help. The narrator injecting himself into these stories and how they’ve personally affected him is just strange and bizarre and takes away from the otherwise good storytelling.
