Okay
The story is interesting but the personal narration starts to feel a bit like one-upping all true crime fans. Like, “You may THINK you like true crime, but I haven’t slept in MONTHS!” Which by the way, isn’t physically possible (and hyperbole isn’t helpful when you’re a fact driven genre). Despite all that, I’m hopeful the host will continue the series heeding the feedback of so many listeners (my opinion is shared by many of the ones I’ve read) because I do think he has what it takes to make this great. With a little less editorializing and self focus, this could be 5 stars.
