“I am continually in awe of the entire Mosaic team and I yearn for this type of community and teaching at my local church. I’ve now listened (and watched, thanks to their video pod casts) to a years worth of messages. I’ve now read through the Barbarian Way, Unstoppable Force, Soul Cravings, and Peppermint Filled Piñatas. I’ve even made it out to the Mayan and attended a couple gatherings there.
I will say that at first impression, when I first listened to Erwin McManus, I thought it was “watered down Christianity”, but as I’ve read his books (and Eric Bryant’s) and attended their Origins conference in May 2007 in Pasadena, CA. I have to say that the ‘community of faith, love and hope’ that they have created at Mosaic is the real deal. I find too often churches with superficial Christianity and Christians who love each other on Sundays but not during the rest of the week and that is not the case at Mosaic. Every message strikes a chord deep within my soul that longs for true communion with God and actively connecting with my community. I wish I could be apart of their team, not because of how much I can learn from them, but how the environment that they have created encourages everyone involved to rise up and fulfill the life that God has created for us to be.
I have friends within the Christian church who focus only on studying the word and “going deeper” into the word, but they don’t share their faith and make any sacrifices to serve in Kingdom work. The Mosaic team (not just Erwin McManus, but the entire staff and catalysts of Mosaic) focuses more on building relationships and offering love and compassion to a lost and broken world. Their members continually make sacrifices and are all deeply committed to serving and putting their natural talents and skills to work for the sake of others. Their artisans, nurtured from within this community, create beautiful and amazing works of art, out of their love for the Lord in mediums of video, drama, dance, music and art.
Instead of programs and structures, Mosaic is an organic community that follows the example of Jesus Christ and the first century church and is the purest, authentic example of what it means to follow Christ and to be lead by the heart of God in all that they do.”Read full review »

I have had the pleasure of sitting in on one of erwins talks a few years back and while it was very alternative it was holy spirit driven. To say that God HATES sinners is a big misconception on who He is. He hates sin not the...”Read full review »
