Laps 7 and 8 were tough - With Jess Vickruck # 134
Listen now
Description
We are back at it from our summer vacation and we have a treat for you this evening. This episode was recorded in August after I ran the Dark 50 event in Minto NB. I met on the course Jess Vickruck, we ran a few laps of the 10-lap race together and started chatting. This was the longest race she had ever attempted. We get to hear how Jess handled the event, the course at night, and what it is like running on trails in the dark. Jess tells us how she started running and what led her to choose the Dark 50 trail run. Jess had a couple of surprises at the end of her run, I will not share them here in the notes, but we believe you will love hearing about it. I want to add this was an event put on by Jos Eijkelestam, Dutch Viking Events. If you haven't checked out any Dutch Viking events, I suggest you try it.
