Capes 100 - Journey to 100 Miles - With Nick Landry #135
Listen now
Description
Nick Landry had a thought 5 years ago: to run a 100-mile ultra event. We have Nick back on our show tonight because he has accomplished that goal. We discuss the training, the mental and physical stresses placed on the body, and the run itself. The highs and lows of such a grueling event can be overwhelming but Nick was up to the task. Doing much better than he even thought possible, Nick crushed the Capes 100 course. This is a very inspiring story and reminds us that the mind and body can do amazing things with the right mindset and proper training. Nick writes a wonderful blog about his run at Capes and it made me feel as if I was there. The link is below in the show notes and I would encourage everyone listening to this podcast to go read his blog post. Keep up the great work Nick.
