We are going for sunshine - With Amber Hachey #148

Description
We recorded this episode in December and wanted to save it for our first show of 2024. Diane and I want to thank all our listeners for taking to time to check out our podcast. This journey has been a wonderful one that we like sharing with you. Tonight's guest is Amber Hachey from Quispamsis / Saint John, NB. Amber loves outdoor adventures and was very competitive at a young age through high school. Hiking with her dogs was a favorite pastime of Ambers. In 2019 Amber purchased her first pair of trail running shoes and off she went. Amber joined the Saint John Trail Runners and started running several races. Completing five big trail runs this year and her very first 110km race, fantastic. She was one of the many volunteers at the first-ever Loonie Loops, working behind the scenes. This is where I met Amber and knew we needed her on our show and we are so glad she said yes. Amber talks about what it was like and the nasty weather conditions Amber, Marc McColgan and everyone else went through. It was one heck of an event and hearing from Amber what the 24-hour event was like was gold. I hope you enjoy our first show back in 2024, I know we enjoyed speaking with Amber a great deal.
