Is when you don’t think you’ll be interested in the guest/interview but end up being transfixed and fascinated for over an hour. This podcast often keeps me company on my walk to work. Sometimes I have to slow my pace down so that I can listen to it all before I arrive at work.

I listen to a lot of pods and many on the west. I usually unsubscribe after one or two. This is one of the few I share with western friends. It is not glib. It is balanced. And helpful with plenty of insight on our western land.

Another one bites the dust. This is sad. I was enjoying older interviews but now it’s all about climate fear. I had a feeling that it was going this direction and the most recent episode confirms it. And, oh, if you didn’t know, everything is trumps fault.

Your interview with Katie Sever of Ft. Lonesome was soul-satisfying. Every word made me love and admire my dear friend Kathie more than I already do (which is a lot!). Her clarity and humility and honesty and depth came through and shined brightly. Fantastic interview. Thank you!

I just finished the Monica Tranel podcast and between Ed’s incredibly thoughtful questions and Monica’s humanity in answering, it gave me the fresh dose of hope I needed in times such as these. It’s hard to underestimate the impact of this podcast in my life.
