Love this podcast. Intelligent, witty and so relaxing. I have a slight concern it will be one of those podcasts that just disappears as it doesn’t quite fit into any category, but the long form chat and humour is one of the most listenable and gentle podcasts there is. Fantastic stuff.

Really love the balance and humour, I’ve just binged all the episodes! Should 100% do Clash of the Titans. Would be improved by Iain Macintosh

I tried checking this out because I’m a fan of Joe’s other work and I love movies, but gave up after 5 episodes because Adam is so insufferable. I hope his attitude is a bit, honestly, because otherwise I can’t imagine he has many friends. Definitely would prefer Iain Macintosh.

Iain Macintosh would be a welcome addition to this podcast.

Insightful film analysis. Would prefer if it were hosted by Ian McIntosh though. Keep up the great work!

I find podcast reviews to be completely pointless. If you don’t like this podcast it’s because you haven’t listened to it.

I must caveat this with: I’d listen to Joe Devine talk about pretty much anything. The pod has a great blend of serious film analysis and nonsensical digressions. Joe is great and brings his chaotic energy as he did on Tifo before they reverted to more serious analysis; and Adam is a perfect...Read full review »

I love these twos breadth of film knowledge, I always feel like I learn something new. this is one of the only podcasts that makes me laugh out loud on the train. often at its best when they’re not talking about the film at all. lovely play between the two hosts.

I listen to a lot of podcasts and this is definitely my current favourite. I’m enjoying the witty yet combative tones of Adam alongside Joe’s enquiring and tangential mind. Their love and breadth of knowledge of films is infectious. My Monday walk to work is definite highlight of the week right now.

Great alternate take on films and life. The dynamic between Devine’s wide-eyed positivity and Richmond’s more world-weary take is always entertaining and really works. The chats wander happily off piste but there’s a real love of cinema there which seems to always bring it back

I like to listen to an Adam Richmond in full stride take down a film he's grudgingly compelled himself and his friend to watch. I often learn something along the way.Read full review »

I enjoyed the first two episodes – especially listening to Joe Devine – however, I can’t listen to Adam Richmond anymore; too pretentious and comes across too arrogant for my liking.
