Off to an interesting start
It’s true the beginning focuses on Chris’ family’s perspective pretty heavily, but they do say his wife’s family had been reached out to multiple times, with no response. I imagine it’s hard to get a even perspective with just one side weighing in. That being said, the show is very informative and helps to add a sense of humanity to what seems like a brutal event. People are wrongfully convicted everyday, so I think it’s admirable to try and bring more information to a devastating situation.

I know there was a disclaimer that it was one-sided, but to listen to Chris’ family trash talk his the victim’s family? Disgusting. Episode 2 will be my last.

Feels super gross to listen to. Basically the host wants you to believe the convicted murderer is innocent, so if that means letting the murderer’s family trash talk and blame the victim, she’ll do it. Skip this. Go do something more constructive with your time.

At first, I wasn’t interested but then I gave a listen-where episode TWO totally gripped me. Lauren did a great job breaking down the two families different dynamics.
