Music Student 101 features two congenial hosts who teach us listeners a lesson in a different aspect of music theory in each episode. There are many “aspects” and, correspondingly, many episodes - and, thankfully, no end in sight. The episodes are recorded not in a dry academic way, rather, they are cleverly disguised as a [nerdy – thankfully!] conversation between friends. Hosts Jeremy and Matthew are experts in music theory and they do an excellent job of transferring their knowledge to us listeners in a genial chatty format. I discovered this podcast with a search on my Podcast app, gave it a try and haven’t looked back.
