Enjoyable podcast minus a couple issues
As an ultralight trekker, climber and kayaker who visits national parks several times a year I really do enjoy this podcast. However, I have a couple of issues with some of the content. First, the hosts need to do a little additional episode prep. When there is a name or word that is difficult to pronounce - for example, a Native American word - please take a few seconds to learn the correct pronunciation. This is especially true when that name or word is repeated several times. My second issue is the constant presentation of supposedly paranormal content, angelic interventions and other experiences that defy logic and reason. Sure, they make for interesting listening and draw people to the podcast, but it undercuts the credibility of the podcast. Finally, there is a lot of cringe generalized man-bashing that detracts from the content.

I feel lucky I stumbled upon this podcast right when it started! The hosts tell the stories with such a balance of detail and emotion, and you can tell they do thorough research. I’ll continue to listen every week!
