“I don’t know how, in the last week of October 2024, grown adults can go on the internet and complain about Bad Bunny’s reason for supporting Kamala Harris. If a political campaign invited a comedian to their stage, they knew what they signed up for. They had to approve his jokes. And if they didn’t approve them, they were assuming liability for whatever he said up there. Hearing someone’s home country, especially a country that is already shown so little respect from American politicians, called trash is absolutely a valid reason to support the candidate that didn’t align with that ‘joke.’ It’s not about wether or not you agree with the endorsement, it’s about that being a valid reason for someone to feel moved to make and endorsement. Would love to hear the reasons these guys have for voting whichever way they did, and they better be very clear, detailed, and not at all ‘soft.’”
