“This podcast has changed my life as I feel that so many doctors and professions in the medical field are ignorant or unaware of women’s health and how hormones affect them throughout their lives. My mother tragically had surgical menopause when I was 5 years old and was never put on HRT. I had to live with her mental instability for years and decades . She was finally diagnosed with severe mental illness and medicated for it but never given HRT. I am now realising that some of my symptoms might be peri menopausal and have booked to see a hormone specialist soon with the hope that this will help me. I have a 6 year old and would never want her to go through what I went through. Thank you Louise for raising awareness in this very important health topic .”
