Totally creative and adventurous, and occasionally erotic, these stories are a complete world I find addictive. Great job Emerian Rich!

FormerAM on 8/28/09 summed up my feelings on this fairly well. Just passed the half way mark and the story is so bad that I can't turn away. Observations for the author: Voice acting - not required but, if you do it, own it. - option 1: if you are going to read your own work and can't do...Read full review »

I'll be honest, I found this story to be off to a slow start and a bit cheesy at first. However, the further in I got the more enthralled I became; and soon this was all I would listen to until I was done with Part 1. By the time I was half way through I was hooked, and the unexpected ending was...Read full review »

I made it about half way through but sadly I couldn't finish it. The story jumps around way too much and rambles. A little more thought and consolitation of the story would make for a better listening experience and the accents were interesting but a bit over done. I think it was a good first...Read full review »

Did not like it.

Wow! The girl narrating this story sounds like she reads at a 2nd grade level. The other "narrator" also sound like reading is a newly acquired skill that he isn't quite yet fully comfortable with. I could not get through the first 3 chapters as a result of the terrible writing and even worse...Read full review »

I'm about halfway through this podnovel and I'm loving it so far. It's gotten to a point where I'm getting nothing done at work because I can't wait to hear the next chapter. Now my two-hour bus ride doesn't seem long enough!!! Thanks Emerian!

I forced myself to listen to the 1st 9 chapters, hoping the story would go somewhere. Not worth the effort!

This may have been a good story, but I couldn't get past what sounded like a 12-year old narrating explicit scenes.

I am into chapter 19 in this podcast series. I absolutely love this series! It's very hard to turn off the nano after a chapter is finished. Good job!

Nothing beats a great story but sometimes the reader gets in the way. This is not the case with Emerian Rich. A good story, a committed reader/author, and free to boot! Kudos!

At first this podcast was hard to get into. If you have the same problem just hang in there, it gets better and will hook you in like it did me. Enjoyed all the character's and the story. A fun listen.

Deliciously entertaining- I am sure glad I came across this audiobook during my trawls through the iTunes store. Night's Nights was masterfully written and had me captivated until the very end. I found the character Jespa particularly fascinating. Four stars!

I just finished the novel, and I must say, I enjoyed it very much! I think the characters are very diverse, great backstories of them, and great handling of flashbacks. Don't take too seriously the negative comments. Everyone does have an opinion, theirs are negative, and mine happens to be...Read full review »

Poorly written and compounded by extremely amateurish narration. The attempt to change to deeper voices for mail characters was very distracting. The story was difficult to follow after the first installment, and I gave up by the fourth. I hope she continues to learn and try until she hones her...Read full review »

this was the worst, no story worth mentioning, terrible voices as well
wulfgar eating the biscuit via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 09/04/09
The voice is so excessively bad that I could not get past the first few episodes. The story seems to have promise, but I can't, can't, can't listen to that voice. If the story were recorded with a different one I would try again.
Horrible Voices! via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 06/07/09
It is hard to take this podcast seriously because the character voices are so incredibly bad. Some of them were obviously slowed down to obtain a deeper voice. Very cheesy.

You won't find any revolutionary departures from the vampire genre here. You will find excellent editing and a little more production that is found in your typical podiobook. Rich creates a wonderfully detailed backstory for all the main characters. The story drags on a little past it's welcome...Read full review »

This story comes across as something written by a sophomore in high school with an imagination. So poorly written, I couldn't make it past the first 3 or 4 episodes. Also the same music played at the end of each episode, is extremely annoying. The author seems joined at the hip with the...Read full review »

if you dont like this story, you are insane. That is the simple truth in the matter. I love how she puts in the point of view of almost everybody involved, it gives you a better grasp at whats going on.

I tried several times to listen to this book, but I couldn't get past the first chapter. The reader's voice just turned me off from the story. I'd love to give it another go with a different reader.......

Great vamps in this one with some really seductive blood sucking moments. Do any of those lady vamps have cell phone numbers. Also educational as I learnt a new word, "Bitters". Well done Emerian, for those who also enjoy Anne Rice's novels.

It's not just the california accent of the reader, it's the whole premise. So incredibly hack it's a waste of 1's and 0's.

I was very interested interested in this story at the beginning. At some point, though, it seemed to take a huge detour, as if it were two stories stuck together. After I noticed this, the author admitted in one of her notes that Night's Knights had orginally started as more than one story that...Read full review »

Dear God, this woman's voice is like sandpaper on my ears. I think the story would be okay, but I just can't get past her voice. I never liked those stories where they take the point of view of a vampire hunter. I always enjoyed the point of view of the vampire more. Alright i listened to the first chapter. The story might be decent, but the author/narrator's voice is SOO GRATINGLY little girl nasily, it's just so whiny I can't get past it.
