“Ignore the plug for sponsor Guitar Player in the icon...this isn't a Guitar Player podcast; it's a guitar player's podcast. No, that's not even sufficient; it's a musician's podcast. I didn't know who Jude was before I listened to episode 1, and what I've learned since then is that he brings both a musician's perspective and a fan's perspective to the interview, making it fun and interesting in many ways. His apparent experience in the music industry and knowledge of guitar playing enable him to elicit stories from the interviewees that you'll probably never hear elsewhere. Had I previously heard of Jeff Pevar or Kevin Cadogan? Would I normally listen to an interview with James Valentine? No to all of the above, but I'm sure glad I listened.
