Beautifully observed, and alluringly performed. This is a dark, intriguing look at the humanity behind the nobility. Also very well produced. I was transported. This is a subscription that I will maintain enthusiastically.

Had to listen to it twice. Chilling, beautiful story telling. I love the soft piano in the background as the narrator tells this dark story. This is the kind of podcast I’ve been craving.

Marie Antoinette hid things in cardboard boxes (invented around 100 years after her death) and wrote the word “negative” on a flower? What? The writers have taken too many liberties in imagining what happened.
