Great Pod!
Constant listener since about a year here (listened to all the episodes including the first two seasons). I love how profoundly you guys dive into one single event and regularly manage to to give me a more complete picture of this band I consider myself a diehard fan of. Love the humour, love the choice of topics! If there’s any thing I’d have to criticise it’s Steven not acknowledging the importance and brilliance in the predominant role McCartney took from 1965 on envisioning all the albums that really made ‘em immortal. I know that being a George fan one might struggle with certain aspects of Paul’s personality. But I don’t see how could be doubting his superiority as musical mastermind of the group. Anyway, that’s just one tiny bit of disagreement that sometimes annoys me when I hear Steven talking about Paul. Apart from that I’m a huge fan of this pod. Especially the insights on marginal figures that appear in the Beatles story. One thing that’s refreshing especially in contrast to some American Beatles Pod's is that you guys don’t see any issue in speaking out about things you don’t like, be it music or movies or whatever. Not even in the Beatles cosmos it’s always sunny and rainbowy and there’s no shame in addressing that. Keep up the good work you guys! Greetings from a German Beatlesfan living in Argentina!Read full review »

Or rather, I can’t Wait for every episode of this to come out. It’s lovely to see what topics are picked and how they’re approached by Jason and Steven. It’s great spending time in their company and hearing how they put across their research to illustrate the subjects they’re discussing.

The affable and knowledgeable hosts Jason and Steven make this podcast the most enjoyable in my feed. They chronicle the Fab Four in enough detail to feel they’ve covered it all, but in an easy storytelling manner that leaves you wanting to hear more. Very well done, thanks gents!
