“I've started to realize that Podcast are like Etsy. If I think I want something, someone HAS already made that exact thing. I simply just have to look for it.
Unfortunately, I don't get to read nearly as often as I'd like. I'm so busy almost all the time, and the few hours I'm not busy I have a hard time focusing. The stack of books I want to read keep piling up. So I got to thinking that I'd like to find a podcast that summarizes books. I was thinking Spark Notes in audio form. I downloaded a few promising ones to try out. But this podcast is the only one I've tried so far. Because, turns out, it was exactly what I was looking for.
Things I love about it:
Short (less than 1 hour) summaries
Interesting host and guests
Information about the author at the end
Nice diverse catalog of classic books
Most of all, the fact that I thought I'd only listen to the books I'd never read, but turns out I find a lot of value in listening to the books I have read!”Read full review »
