3rd time not a charm!
This is my third time subscribing and being disappointed and cancelling. The host used to put way to much of his own opinions in. Now, he spends 10 minutes repeatedly doing disclaimers reminding people that he DOESN'T do that. The episodes are also now shorter. The actual episode is 90 percent 911 calls, audio of other people's livestreams and background music and sounds. I was hoping after a year, there would be a ton of new content...there wasn't. Lastly I think the price is too high. I wouldn't be surprised the creator of Sword and Scale gave this creator some bad $$ advice. Not for me.Read full review »

More reviews of Obscura: A True Crime Podcast
A fantastic true crime podcast! I especially enjoy the fact based narrative style. Lots of detail, thoughtful storytelling and not opinionated. I like that lesser known cases are covered and victims are treated with respect. Keep up the good work Justin 🙂

Stumbled across this podcast while searching for info on the Mona Biddy case. Now I’m hooked.

Good, informative podcast. No nonsense and no filler, just serious facts. Episodes tend to be on the shorter side, but recently have been getting longer, which is great.
