Dude! California skeptics? Whassup, yo?
As a lifelong Californian (minus four years in the "Deep South," which is a major misnomer), I appreciate Ross and Carrie because they remind me of so many of my Los Angeles friends, my Palo Alto friends, and my Santa Cruz friends. Ross and Carrie do what has to be done. They go out and get involved with the freakiest, the weirdest, the most potentially dangerous nonsense in America. And then they report. And if you think you know mormons, ear-candlers, mystics, or whatever, you just haven't listened to this podcast. A great skeptical podcast without straying into the derogatory, which is all too often a trapping with thematically skeptical podcasts. What a great concept for a podcast! Ross and Carrie engage in these topics with a great balance of intelligent skepticism and genuine curiosity. But Carrie, do you seriously not know who Robert Plant is?
