Southern Gothic At Its Finest
Having been born and raised in The South, I am always on the lookout for media that does the land and the people right, and this definitely fills the bill. The overall story is well-crafted and spooky, at times deeply disturbing. Steve Shell has a friendly and soothing voice that draws you in, and then fills you with dread as he speaks of the events that unfold in Barlow County. Nobody else is pointing this out, so I’m going to have to. This is so bothering me.
