On Being
I have been listening to Krista Tippet, On Being formerly Speaking of Faith, since the early days and it has developed into an extraordinary and original voice in the media. I used to revel in running home from wherever I was on Sunday and listen carefully and completely engaged to the show. Now of course I just download it and listen to it at any time. I still will check in every Thursday to see what new show is being celebrated. Even when there is a repeat show, I listen again and get even more from it the second time around. i have my favorites which I have listened to more then twice, thank goodness for the podcasts. I love the show about John O'Donahue, Rumi, Sylvia Boorstein and so many others. Hands down this is my favorite program on the radio, it has informed and shaped my life immeasurably. I am constantly telling my fiends about it and sending them links, even if they forget to listen, I persist in sharing through email and Facebook. One of these days I hope to hear Krista Tippet live here in NYC, I have missed her each time she comes, but hope to see her soon. I regard her as one of the most influential people we have anywhere, especially in the media which is more often then not controlled by corporate greed, this is an important and nurturing venue. Thank you for Being you!Read full review »

More reviews of On Being with Krista Tippett
I just stumbled upon this podcast a week or so ago and by far, this is my favorite spritually focused podcast in terms of breadth and depth of subjects discussed and the non-dogmatic approach of Krista. Easily 5 stars!
