Description
I feel most people are too dependent on others for fulfillment. When those elements are no longer around, individuals without independence begin to break-down and succumb to depression. This is in friendship, marriage, and just overall need for social interaction. My suggestion is to always learn to be independent, learn to respect yourself, and relish in those times with other people. But your primary source of gratification should not be other people, because friends move on and when you leave the house, you don't have the same support structure that you once had.
