“I am really enjoying Ostium. The storyline and general premise have really sucked me in, and I think the whole idea behind the plot so far works really well for the serialised fiction / podcast world. My only (small) complaint is that the acting sometimes seems a bit wooden. There have been a few moments where the characters are going through some really emotional things or talking about events that should have elicited some emotion in their voices, and yet it all comes off as sounding a bit deadp[an, and dare I say it, "read off a page". I'm looking forward to hearing this podcast grow and improve over the seasons, and I'm sure the acting will also improve as the actors settle into their characters and the groove of the forming plot line(s). All in all, a job well done by all involved, I'm actively recommending this one to anyone who is asking for a new one to listen to, and I look forward to having more Ostium in my life in the future.”Read full review »
