Huh
Added later: OK. So somehow this made a sex story boring and kind of gross. That's it. Deleting. Had me until then. So I like it enough to keep listening, but I find myself frustrated and eye-rolling more than I like (after every episode I have to check in to make sure, like SURE-sure, that I want to keep going). The flat-affect voice "acting," the too-self-aware writing, the "telling not showing," lack of commitment to time or perspective - the whole thing comes off as klunky. I also really despise it when one ficitional reality gloms on to others to try to raise their own cultural cache, too (don't name better podcasts to try to make us believe you're "like" them). That said, there's enough of a story that I want to see where it leads - I don't entire trust I'll be satisfied but I'm willing to keep riding along. For now.Read full review »

Meh
The voice acting is NOT GREAT but the story in season 1 was enough to keep me listening. The EMU extras were also bearable, but season 2 is DRAGGINGGGGGGGG. The references to other podcasts like Tanis and Limetown are unnecessary and weird.
