Good ideas, not much else
The story is fascinating, but the acting and especially the writing is just not good. While the show tries hard to give its characters distinctie personalities, they are all clearly written by the same person - same mannerisms, same asides, same word choices. The part that requires most work is the "English" character, played by the podcast's writer/creator. The character is one perfomed by someone who isn't English, but seems to know a lot of British slang. Apparently inserting ALL of the slang into the podcast makes him British. Great original story. It’s keeping me guessing. I’m surprised at so many reviews critical of the female voice actor’s delivery. I think she’s great. Her character is written slightly awkward but her performance is great.
