Jasmin and Mariann bring a dose of humanity and humour to a topic that can be overwhelming at times, and lend their knowledge and opinions to current events and subjects (such as legal issues) that might not be as approachable for the average person. Book and movie reviews are also a regular part of the show, and they frequently offer suggestions for how the listener can get involved in current animal-rights issues.
