Honest, nuanced, and impossible to stop listening to
Race is tough for Americans to talk about. Really tough. Raquel, Baratunde, and Tanner talk about race, honestly and frankly, calling bullsh** when they see it, with plenty of disagreements and differing perspectives, but always with respect and compassion for one another. The multiracial composition of the group sometimes leads to exchanges that feel uncomfortable; but they don't shy away from uncomfortable, and they challenge listeners to embrace that discomfort as the only way to get over your own sh** and have the real, meaningful, important conversations about race that need to happen and that we are, as a country, assiduously avoiding.Read full review »
