The story was pretty unreal, and while Joe was a showman and needed to be arrested, Carol Baskin is also SUUUPER full of herself. While Joe was a sociopath, Carol was a narcissist. This was thoroughly investigated and well produced - although the actual subject matter is stomach-churning. Wild animal “zoos” and ownership is horrific and never a good idea, and this podcast really exposes the worst kind of folks.
