Funny, smart, and great rhythm
I saw Civil War overseas and looked up podcasts since I was far away from my usual squad of movie-loving friends. I went through a couple pretty bad ones with awkward flow, shallow discussion, and bored hosts yawning in the middle of the conversation. It was a relief to find Overinvested via a tumblr reblog. They are smart, have great chemistry and rhythm, and have made me laugh out loud multiple times while I'm walking in the street. I have the impression that they take time to plan the overall structure and talking points of an ep while leaving room for spontaneous tangents and discussion which I really appreciate. I've actually listened to a few eps more than once when it came up on my playlist. I'm planning to go see the Jane Austen movie primarily so I can listen to their podcast. Thanks Gavia and Morgan, keep up the great work!Read full review »

Gavia and Morgan are fun to listen to. Their analysis of media is great. The podcast is a stellar example of its genre.
