“I have listened to and loved this podcast for a few years now but as an English listener I have been very disappointed by the insults and snide comments about England and English food during this latest series. I think that the Top Chef team have done a fantastic job of showcasing our beautiful country both in London and in the gorgeous surrounding countryside but all the Pack Your Knives hosts seem to want to do is throw insults. England is a multicultural country with amazing and diverse cuisine and to constantly make cheap digs is in very poor taste. Of course, we can all agree and have a bit of fun that British food doesn't have the best reputation, but some dishes are regional and have been passed down for generations with long and interesting stories behind them. I was excited to see a Top Chef season set in England and to listen along to the podcast but I don't think I'll be listening any more.”Read full review »
