Paradise Paper fake news
I am a fan of Private Eye but found my fandom somewhat reduced when listening to the Trumpian approach that has been taken to the Paradise Papers. The levels of bias and misinformation dished out in this podcast are saddening. People look to Private Eye to shine a light of truth and this podcast only pursues an agenda. ‘Secretive’ law firm?…utter rubbish. I presume the speaker meant they won’t give information on their clients. Better hope your house purchase solicitor won’t either. I am against flagrant tax avoidance but I have a greater aversion to fake news and this podcast was full of it.

In lieu of Lord Gnome ever putting Private Eye on the iPad, love catching up this was. Mr Murray does a smashing job of conveying the behind the scenes Eye. Who knew they had an elf.

Well, this is a nice little podcast for middle class English people. It won't rock the boat or say anything controversial or particularly funny, but it will talk about some interesting things in a semi-amusing way. Something for when you want to be stimulated, but not challenged.Read full review »
