I find the sensationalism of the potential problems during the teenage years and the clickbait headlines unsettling.

Thank you so much for the insights in this episode about our boys and the role of “manfuences”. This episode not only uncovers the bullying and gaslighting of our female teachers but gives advice to parents of boys and girls on how to patiently explain how to deal with this situation. Thank you.

This is soooo bad. Hi am am I 15 years old and none of this is true

I think because she currently has three kids in the tween and teen zone, it makes it really relatable. I shared her tech podcast with all the year six mothers and they really appreciated it. The ‘gaming’ episode needed to be longer! Can we also do a self esteem one and the rise of anxiety in teens?

Great show. Thank you. Navigating teen years on the 21st century is certainly interesting. There are great helpful ideas in this podcast.

I absolutely love this podcast. I eagerly wait each week to see what topic will be discussed. I have either related myself or known someone who can relate to every topic that has been covered so far. Keep it up Bec, I find you refreshing and non judgmental and the topics are so very relevant.

We are loving Parental as Anything Teens at the moment. We are in a mental health crisis in Australia for people of all ages and parents are finding it harder to know where to get support and where to get sound advice. Rebecca is highly relatable and lovely to listen to and normalises the issues...Read full review »

As a single parent to two sons (one a teen, one about to be), sometimes I feel like I’m in over my head! It’s like learning to parent all over again! Bec Sparrow is answering all the questions I have in my head - like holding my hand through the process. Thank you for this service! ⭐️

I love every episode, but this one got me really thinking about my children’s relationship with my husband’s mother who lives with us. I am encouraged to keep trying to set boundaries as well as working on communicating well- and remembering that we all love each other. Thank you, Maggie!

This is a really tricky episode. Grandparents really need to be told they are grandparents. Not parents. The opinions and comments come thick and fast when most parents are doing their best in the moment.
fl_ip too via Apple Podcasts · Australia · 06/06/23
I thought Maggie advocated for attachment parenting, being the safe space for your child. It was a shock then to hear the interviews in the sleep episode which basically advocated for forcing your upset, crying child to sleep alone. And then to hear the cry it out story at the end! I actually...Read full review »

I found Maggie Dent through a book recommendation for From Boys to Men. I’m working my way through episodes now to catch up but am so grateful to hear the episode on engaging your kids on the connect of miscarriage. It’s so abstract and yet affects everyone is such a big way, so thank you.

I’ve only recently come across this & listened to a handful of episodes and already I feel more optimistic. It’s changed the way I’m viewing my parenting, I’m trying the tips all my time and my son is responding so well. Things have already been much calmer at home and less reactive & I...Read full review »

It’s a great show with lots of useful strategies to try at home with the kids. Only criticism I have is it’s very ‘white-centric’ and the points of view are almost exclusively informed by a specific Western, Anglo worldview.
