It’s a great show with lots of useful strategies to try at home with the kids. Only criticism I have is it’s very ‘white-centric’ and the points of view are almost exclusively informed by a specific Western, Anglo worldview.

This is my favourite podcast - I find the advice practical and helpful and, like watching Bluey, I've become a better, more engaged parent for it. Love this podcast and Maggie is of course amazing. The 3 star review is because of the way the podcast runs. It is SO inconvenient to not have each episode tick over into the next sequential episode. Episode 1 comes directly after episode 2 right? Wrong . They only run from the latest episode...Read full review »

Some great advice throughout! Am not loving the gender stereotypes though. I have a boy and girl their behaviours are essentially the same, gender is so socially conditioned! We don’t allow boys to be feminine and vv. Am disappointed that they fell back on boys are wild and girls are meek and...Read full review »

Like anything to do with parenting, it’s good to take in lots of various opinions and sift through them to find what may work for you. I find this podcast has some useful information but have also found some of it to be a bit “naff”.

I was interested when I saw Janet Lansbury’s name featured and began to listen. While Janet was incredible, I felt the host didn’t really understand Janet’s viewpoints about emotion, an example being that she asked how to stop tantrums... Her advice seems adult centred.
