Disappointing advice re sleep
I thought Maggie advocated for attachment parenting, being the safe space for your child. It was a shock then to hear the interviews in the sleep episode which basically advocated for forcing your upset, crying child to sleep alone. And then to hear the cry it out story at the end! You should be giving parents tips on how to cope, how to get through things NOT telling them to leave their child alone to cry “distressingly”.

I love every episode, but this one got me really thinking about my children’s relationship with my husband’s mother who lives with us. I am encouraged to keep trying to set boundaries as well as working on communicating well- and remembering that we all love each other. Thank you, Maggie!
