Love this podcast because of its relevance to Canadian politics packaged in a format that is easy to digest:) My only request is that you ask for feedback through channels other than twitter for those of us that don’t tweet.

Really enjoy the podcast - you are both very knowledgeable and engaging. And the pro Liverpool bias makes it all even better!!

I’m glad it’s back, focusing on The Canadian political landscape. It fills the niche perfectly. Rosemary and Elamin are great together.
kdfwagen via Apple Podcasts · Canada · 03/06/20
Informative and entertaining - fills a much-needed gap for concise, impactful discussions on Canadian politics. Really love the energy between Rosemary and Elamin!
MelanieBechard via Apple Podcasts · Canada · 03/04/20
Should be called, “Liberal Party PR” as Rosemary Barton is clearly a Liberal Party member.
Randy Bobanski via Apple Podcasts · Canada · 03/01/20
This is entertaining, but the bias of the hosts to support the LIberal Party of Canada in all situations is becoming evident.
DustinStretch via Apple Podcasts · Canada · 02/27/20
I really WANT to like this podcast. I keep coming back to it because it has so much promise. One thing really distracts and turns me off: Rosemary Barton awkwardly laughs way too much about things that aren’t funny. I find it alienating as a listener. I don’t know why she does it, and I get if...Read full review »

I am legitimately astonished by how blatant Rosemary Barton is about her support for the Liberal Party. At least Elamin (the reason I tuned in) keeps it factual and interesting. But literally *every single sentence* out of Barton's mouth is a LPC talking point.Read full review »

Pretty good but they don’t share enough of the insider-ish perspective I was hoping for when I subscribed. It seems like I hear too much of their personal feelings on the news. Also, every week they ask for submissions from people on a topic but don’t share what people submitted to them. They...Read full review »

The CBC has abandoned all attempts to be neutral with this latest offering . Very left , disappointed in our national broadcaster which is funded by All Canadians ..

Enjoyed this podcast during the election. Happy to see it relaunched.

I am thrilled to see a Season 2! I think this is one of the most informational yet highly entertaining Canadian podcasts I’ve happened upon related to politics - not dry at all! I look forward to Thursdays as a result!

Thanks for a great podcast! You kept me engaged and current, loved it 👍

So glad you’re continuing past the election. Thoughtful analysis that is honest while also managing not to feel too heavy. I look forward to Thursday mornings and getting caught up on national politics.
katieannk6 via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 10/24/19
Honestly how can you talk about the electoral reform debate as if the opposition parties didn’t completely sewer the process? Cons wanted no change and NDP wanted pie-in-the-sky changes. If the Libs had made changes despite the opposition, they’d have been smeared as undemocratic.

I love this podcast! The banter between Rosemary and Elamin is gold and I’m always left wanting to hear more. They’ve touched on all the important issues I’ve been thinking about during this election and I’m almost sad the election season is nearly finished because Thursdays have been the...Read full review »

And informative. Some of the negative reviews mention a liberal bias. I don't find it so much of a liberal bias as a good sense commentary on policies. There is plenty of critical commentary to go around.Read full review »

Very left leaning, would be nice if it was more balanced in presenting information about the election and the different candidates. It seems like it’s basically funded by the liberal party.

Thanks for helping cultivate conversation around this upcoming federal election, I have loved listening to the podcast! I have my fingers crossed that maybe you guys will continue on after the election, and help keep Canadian’s engaged in the conversation!!!!

This podcast helps to make sense of the political campaign. I’m really enjoying listening to Rosie and Elamin, they are very engaging and I love how excited they are about politics.

Hosts are very impressed - erroneously - with their comedic talents. “We are children”, one exclaimed on a recent episode full of giddy commentary. I agree and promptly unsubscribed.

I love this podcast—it makes everything complicated understandable while keeping current on the day-to-day events of the campaign. I love Elamin Abdelmahmoud’s perspective and humor!
Alcanadanow via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 09/29/19
If you’re looking for balance, look else where. If you identify with the left, you’ll find this will adequately confirm your beliefs.
Blowmycow via Apple Podcasts · Canada · 09/22/19
The most bland and unoriginal commentary. Gives you the mainstream opinion without adding anything new to the narrative, apart from being extremely biased to the left. This podcast is a waste of our taxpayer money.

“Party Lines” couldn’t even condemn racist photos of Trudeau. They were obviously shaken by the fact that their favorite politician is a racist.
Montreal2003 via Apple Podcasts · Canada · 09/19/19
As a person of colour, I wish that Mr. Abdelmahmoud would stop thinking that he can speak for all persons of colour. He does not speak for me.
JorgeFromMontreal via Apple Podcasts · Canada · 09/19/19
With most new podcasts it often takes several episodes for the show to get into a groove, but Party Lines has found its groove right off the bat. This can be attributed to the hosts clever and insightful commentary. Coupled with catchy music and the discussion of interesting and important topics,...Read full review »

I don’t mind hosts having their own perspectives, but some balance would be a positive. Rosemary articulates a Liberal Party perspective, and Elamin is clearly left on the political spectrum. There is no right wing representation. I found the partisanship consensus becomes obvious as they dive...Read full review »

Tuned in because I’m a Rosie fan but after getting acquainted with Elhamin on the first episode am now super excited about this. Seems like a great team. So enjoyed and appreciated it this podcast.
