I stumbled on this podcast after a mention on No Such Thing As A Fish, and if it's good enough for Anna it's good enough for me. This is a really well put together podcast, where they do their research and pull together voices from academia and the press to show the patterns in our response to new technology. From people being arrested for using a Walkman through to how reading novels was felt to distract young people and inhibit real world interaction. It's really worthwhile to get a perspective on some of the contemporary arguments you hear spouted about modern technology.Read full review »
