After making her premiere in the summer of 1999 and at the height of the teen-pop craze, Christina Aguilera knew that for her second album, she would showcase who she truly was and would “strip” herself of that cookie-cutter image. And then “Stripped” was born. The album that helped define a generation of singers, and inspire change in the world of feminism, LGBT rights and more. Christina created the album of a generation with “Stripped” and did so while creating many iconic pop culture moments.
