Description
Continuing our discussion on Lean Six Sigma and ESG, I brought back last episode’s guest, Erin Bauer (Product Development Manager at ASQE) and added a new guest, Beth Cudney.
She is a Professor of Data Analytics and the Program Coordinator for Data Analytics at Maryville University. She received her B.S. in Industrial Engineering from North Carolina State University, Master of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering and MBA from the University of Hartford, and doctorate in Engineering Management from the University of Missouri-Rolla. She taught Quality Engineering and Lean Six Sigma at Missouri S&T after gaining manufacturing experience at Jacobs Vehicle Systems (Jake’s Brakes) and Dana Corporation.
Beth and I provided commentary into ASQE’s most recent publication, “Utilizing Lean to Minimize Waste Within ESG Initiatives,” which can be download for free from their website.
In this podcast, we learn more about Beth, review the key points from the survey results, and expand on some of our insights.
We also wanted to let you know about an upcoming sustainability event on July 31st, called “Quality Impact Forum: Sustainability.” Beth and I will also be participating in this event, and will host a panel discussion at the end of the event. Use “IMPACT” to receive a discount on the 1-day event registration cost. Hope to see you there!
