Cynical, not even, just self-consumed
Don't count on anyone with a brain to sponsor your podgabber, after that comment, Nov. 6th, about having "not been around for the Civil Rights movement, so I didn't... blah blah blah," referring to the emotions that ran high all across the globe, because we finally elected someone with pigment. That comment was so self absorbed and no, not cynical but simply stupid, that I blushed for you. Embarrassing.That is like saying, "Hey the Civil War was a long time ago, so the freeing of the slaves doesn't do much for me." Hidden weird racism? Probably not. Just self-consumed idiocy. For some reason, the 3 regulars, Dickerson, Plotz & Bazelon, can't seem to sustain any degree of coherence or depth.
