Political Commentary Lite
Even though I generally agree with these people politically, this program is still a pretty lightweight collection of very standard observations and wildly meandering commentary with very little original thought or insight. Sounds like three neighbors just shooting the breeze at their local Starbucks. The cocktail party topics at the end are just plain bewildering. (e.g. gee, did you know that Justice Scalia is an only child?) I agree with an earlier comment that KCRW's Left, Right and Center podcast is a more thoughtful alternative.Read full review »

Slate is a great magazine and the disscussion on this podcast only examplifies the high quality of the show. I find the discussions very insightful and I really enjoy listening to their conversations. Keep it up! Perhaps a biweekly podcast would also work well, 30 minutes a week is too short.
