Political Commentary Lite
Even though I generally agree with these people politically, this program is still a pretty lightweight collection of very standard observations and wildly meandering commentary with very little original thought or insight. Sounds like three neighbors just shooting the breeze at their local Starbucks. The cocktail party topics at the end are just plain bewildering. (e.g. gee, did you know that Justice Scalia is an only child?) I agree with an earlier comment that KCRW's Left, Right and Center podcast is a more thoughtful alternative.Read full review »

This podcast can be interesting, but everytime Emily Bazelon speaks I wince. She seems completely uninformed on political issues and simply throws out naive or idealistic statements on a regular manner. Ugh

The analysis is fine, pretty decent actually. But this podcast tends to bog down in intrusive personal chatter, Sometimes they take a long time to actually start talking about issues, trading awkward asides.
