This teaching is so full of inspiration and invitation. They put language to felt needs and help us find new language to better connect to the life and teachings of Jesus!

Great podcast that shares the core themes of the book. I did find it mildly amusing that one of the interviews in episode 3, a lady mentioned how she “discipled” people more than 3 or 4 times, when John Mark had made a really eye opening statement that disciple is not a verb but a noun! LOL!...Read full review »

Teaches some wonderful biblical practices for sanctification. However the beginning of episode 3 appears to make salvation by making it contingent on practicing the way. The transformation described in the podcast is sanctification, an important spiritual process, but salvation is not contingent...Read full review »

I started listening to JMC a few years ago. His way of communicating and the methodology he offers us to deepen our relationship with Jesus is clear, concise, and very helpful. I’m so blessed by his teachings. Thank you for this life changing gift 🙏

This podcast is absolutely beautiful. I’ve listened to the first 3 three times already and it just launched. It’s food for my soul! It’s insightful, enriching and points to Jesus in such a way that it leaves you yearning to put it into practice as soon as finishing the podcast. Practicing the way...Read full review »

And being introduced to Willard, Foster,...Read full review »

John Mark’s is a clear, calm and coherent voice bringing us back to how to apprentice to Jesus and live lives of being transformed to be like him. It is NOT about going to church, feeling good about yourself and fitting in with the culture. The Church, regardless of tradition, needs to hear this.

John Mark is an incredibly gifted mind. The ways the Lord uses him to deliver encouragement and hope build character and really seem to serve as an invitation to join him on his journey with the Savior.

The ‘Practicing the Way’ podcast is already very helpful in both summarizing and expanding upon the key ideas of John Mark’s new book. Pastor Tyler Staton does a great job of identifying areas that need further clarification or nuance, such as, “is all this discipleship talk just works...Read full review »
