“I like listening to Mark when I work out. He's informative and inspiring but maintains a healthy sense of humor and reasonable approach to his concepts.
No where is the "food as religion" speech or the "you can do it" BS. Each podcast is full of info on how the body works. If you really want to be a super athelete, there's plenty of info if you dig down on "biohacking," although I only care about losing fat, gaining muscle and being healthy while still maintaining a livable lifestyle. (That means eating pizza at times.)
