“If you're interested in science, this is the worst show to listen to.
3 or more comedians unqualified to be discussing science (with the exception of host Matt Kirshen who is very rarely on the podcast due to other commitments) talk about the comedy world (which granted is funny) and briefly discuss topics in science news.
Each week they have a new guest speaker who in the 20+ episodes I've listened to has had no science background and often just another comedian, and most of the time believes in and firmly backs some psuedo-scientific practice/conspiracy like magnet therapy, homeopathy or NASA faking the moon landing with little skepticism or correct offered by the hosts.
Sadly while I enjoyed the comedy, the complete ignorance of their guests and sometimes the hosts I found to be extremely off-putting for a show claiming to be a science podcast.
Clearly they have just picked the topic of science because it's popular in our culture at the moment but unfortunately are just not qualified to talk about it, with the exception of Matt who unfortunately is rarely on the podcast.
They are entertaining so I can only hope they just drop this science podcast entirely and just do another podcast on what they know: comedy.”Read full review »
