A Must-Listen for Med Students
As a 3rd-year medical student considering specializing in Psychiatry, this podcast was instrumental in helping see the field from a fresh perspective. Dr. Puder does a great job of breaking down basic psychiatric ideas and methods into understandable segments. I especially appreciated the first episode on how to take a psychiatric history ad physical. As a medical student, dealing with psychiatric patients can be intimidating, especially with the stigma surrounding mental illness. Dr. Puder has a approachable, conversational tone and a knack for interviewing that helped me make the final decision to apply to a psychiatric residency. Put rather simplistically, Dr. Puder helped me see how freaking cool psychiatry actually is.

While I...Read full review »
