Pulp-Pourri Theatre has been around for a little while now and it's fantastic. As with most anthology shows, you never quite know what you're going to get, but you will always be pleasantly surprised. The most recent Poe stuff is great!

Great direction, great acting and a full array of stories. Directly from OTR, plays, movies and original stories. Not to mention the commercials. I highly recommend listening.

Pete Lutz is one of the most freakishly prolific audio drama producers around. And I write this in the most loving way. He somehow finds the time to assemble massive casts (although I really don't know about that guy who played the lead in "The King's Prerogative"), write loving addaptations of...Read full review »

When I travel, this show is my companion. I love the stories, the humor and the fun that I know the actors are having as they're putting it all together. If you're looking for a show that is better than TV, binge listen to this!

Have you ever wanted to time travel, sit back, drink some home-made drink, and enjoy the good ole' days when the radio was fun and told stories? Well now you can without the need for a time-piece or modified delorian because Pulp-Pourri Theatre brings back the feeling of old-school radio drama,...Read full review »

Decent acting (if you like the stage presentation) and production. Not original (though not presented as such) so not necessarily my interest. If you like "hammed up" theater acts this might be for you. If you're looking for modern audio drama, probably not your thing.

If you're a fan of "old time" radio shows, this is the perfect podcast for you! The pulp-pourri team does a great job of putting it together and peppering in the right mix of segments and humor. It's what I listen to when I travel...in the car and on the plane!

...for not finding this podcast sooner. Seriously, this is the kind of manic aural entertainment I long for in a podcast. It's crazy, creative, witty and extremely well produced. I love me some Pulp-pourri Theater. Ever since the live show at Harbor Playhouse in 2001, Pete's creative brand of bringing classic style radio theater to today's audience has resonated with me. Here's some great pulp fiction. A nice mix of sci-fi, some horror and a touch of comedy makes this a smorgasbord of delectable goodness! Very reminiscent of radio's golden age, but with a modern twist.

“Tiger Cat” was my first experience with this well-produced audio drama podcast, and it won’t be my last. The concept of breathing new life into vintage material is genius. The acting and audio production are both excellent. If you’re on the fence about whether or not to listen, jump on off....Read full review »

Tired of all the modern noise coming through the airwaves? Me too! Pull up a chair with some sort of fabric cushioning...that's right, that one next to the fireplace is perfect...pour a beverage of your presumed preference, and enjoy the drama of yesteryear...today! Great ambience, story, and...Read full review »

A fun collection of stories with the feel of those classic radio dramas of the 40's and 50's. I especially enjoy the original stories. Great to see someone carrying on the tradition! As a bonus, the stories are just the right length for walking my dog.

I first found the 12 Angry Men performance on Pulp-pourri Theatre and was blown away. It was an amazing one-take performance and I had to hear more. From there it was Miami Impulse and have been hooked ever since. The tone and style and performance are all spot on. So glad to have found this!
