In-Depth Reviews for heavy gamers
What I love about this show is they are usually talking about 2-4 titles max per episode and they will say if it's a first impression after a few plays or if it has been many plays. This means you don't get half-cocked reviews trying to share big thoughts on a game that hasn't really been explored enough and it also helps you make good decisions on what will be of interest to you the listener. They give thoughtful reasons for what they like and don't like and so even if they dislike a game, sometimes I have been intrigued because the things they listed as not liking were things I was looking for. also, they have fun banter and that hasn't changed with the new co-host. There are plenty of great podcasts about boardgaming out there but if you want deep, detailed analysis of games then PC is one of the few out there doing this.Read full review »

The boardgame discussion is always good, even the music and whiskey is alright, but 50 minute rants about airlines aren’t interesting. I know Jim is a big Marc Maron fan, but Maron’s podcast is good in spite of his...Read full review »
