Excellent Characters, Relaxing Presentation
Great story, and I appreciate that it's a change from most of the classic sci-fi hero-quest stories in that there aren't tons of gigantic battles and cybernetic space marines, hostile aliens taking over the galaxy, or even skullduggery and politics. Simply a ripping good yarn about a young man gaining his sealegs and learning to live and work with the crew of a ship, very pleasant and relaxing to read a fun sci-fi story which also manages to avoid the vast majority of sc-fi/fantasy clichees!Read full review »
