Classic Storytelling
This is a great tale of ordinary people going about their everyday lives - although in space of course. Lowell's crafting of characters means that you don't need space battles, bug-eyed monsters, or even that much happening to be totally caught up in the story. It's very Joss Whedon's, Firefly, but with less danger/gun fights/cannibles. There are aspects of The Rookie by Scott Sigler too, in the smuggling aspects. I like it because it's very low key. The main characters aren't in mortal danger at all times. It's interesting, in a...Read full review »

I didn't think I was going to like this book/podcast. I subscribed to it and put off listening to it for a while. I then gave it a chance, and once I got into the story I was hooked.
