Radically awesome! (I know that's cheesy.)
I heard about this podcast from Gretchen Rubin's Onward project and I knew I'd love it when I heard the subtitle "how to be a kickass boss without losing your humanity." Once I saw the phrase "ruinous empathy," like turned into love. I've already recommended this podcast to my boss and am toying with having group discussions with the managers that report to me (book club style) after every episode. Enjoying the podcast. Just curious about one thing: in the intro Kim says it's about "How to not hate the boss you have or be the boss you hate". Not really hearing much on the "how to not hate the boss you have". Mostly this is about how to "not be the boss you hate"...Read full review »

Radical Candor is a great tool or any managers toolbox. The advice is clear, direct, and to the point. The hosts make their message clear with stories and leave you with a quick hit check list to put the advice to work. I have gotten something out of each episode. Thanks for the great material.
